Ideas for the Multimedia Project

We have been brainstorming ideas on how to display and represent data and information about Multimedia Systems:

(MEDIA TYPES)

Text, hypertext, and numbers

This media type is fairly simple.

• Display data through typing and linking objects through the use of hyper link: tables, charts, etc.

Audio

A theory we've thought is to display data through voice/sound recording.

• Some one dictates data through voice recording, probably will include text to discuss further and so the data is not misinterpreted
• Apply sound to any hyper texts/images/links/sites
• Discuss processes: compression, etc.

Images

• Set out images parallel to each other to discuss data types and compression
• Apply hyper link
• Put up texts/words/topics as images (i.e. graphs, diagrams, pictures, etc.)

Video and Animation

• Make a simple video to discuss some relating topics
• Google search animations; how to animate images and texts

Multimedia Assessment

Today, we organised who would do what for the assessement:

what sorta format are we presesnting the assessment in:

Allocations for whom and what they will do:

Claudia was allocated to do research and write it up on the following sub topics of a multimedia system ;

• the characteristics of multimedia system
• examples of multimedia systems

Mariel was allocated to do the same for these of the following;

• the hardware requirements of multimedia
• creating and displaying multimedia

We are to also, every lesson, one or the other, to write a blog of our process. :)
